North West Turf Ltd, based in Aughton, Lancashire is a leading grower and supplier of Turf, top soil and compost to customers throughout the UK they have recently seen an addition to their business of four new Fendt 516 snd 716 Vario tractors from Clarke and Pulman.
We caught up with Directors Ian and Andrew Mercer recently to see how they are finding their new investments. Two of their tractors are fitted with GPS technology, accurate to within 2cm, which has been of great advantage in enabling the tractors to mow in a perfectly straight line without missing or overlapping. They have also found the Vario system to be extremely efficient, particularly for the sandy ground as the tractor will set its own revs.
